found a pair of front ski shocks on ebay for a 96 zrt 600. eye to eye measurement is the same as my 97 zr. Part number for the 96 is 0603-685. My p/n is 0603-896. which is also the same # for a 97 zrt 600. my question is, whats the difference in these shocks? Will they work? Anybody have a clue? Bruce? 0.gif

Well, at least somebody replied. 0.gif < and your math skills suck.

If they are rebuildable just get em. Difference is probably valving and/or spring rate. If necessary you can put your old springs on the new shocks. See if they can check the compressed length, but those front ends should have similar geometry right???

Even if you don't like the ride it'll give you something to use while rebuilding your old ones.

I can't see what would be different except maybe the valving? dunno.gif < found another pair from the same sled though, and they were supposably freshly rebuilt. We'll see if I get em. 0.gif

Shocks are inverted, meaning mounted upside down from yours. Springs are a different part # possibly stiffer ? Not being familiar with A/C are the spindle & a-arms the same ?
Are you getting the springs with the shocks ?

Recomend you go to this site if you haven't & use the part # tab to look up & compare where used & say the spindle & a-arm #'s to compare if different.

A/C parts link
