Alright asshats, we've all heard boat = "a hole in the water that you pour money into" or Boat = Blow an other thousand. Well I say FUCK the misinformed. I love my boat. It's a home away from home. It's an escape. It's recreation. The "piece de resistance", it's a phenomenal place to drink beer!

almost sunk that fucker once... cruising down the hudson when i was a kid.. the drive shaft broke, popped up the snuffing box, and we had 3 ft of water in no time at all... had a 28 carver try and tow us,, could barely budge it.. thought about beaching it, but someone heard our mayday with a big boat,, hooked on us and go us to a marina that had the lift ready when we got there.. What a fucken day that was.. i'm steering and on the radio,, and my old man is trying to plug the hole with rags and slick seam.. Flush.gif

We have a 21' Four WInns to ski with and my old man has a Chris Craft Speedster too. Once the house and camp are done we are looking at a 226 Cobalt. Lake is small dont need anything bigger. Next Toona will be 30' at least though.

Dude, looks about the same as what i started boating solo in as a kid. (Yours is a lot nicer though). Gramps had a 14' Sea nymph with an ancient 10 horse johnson on it. Was technically rowable but was deep enough where you had to stand to do it effectively. My rules were don't go any farther than you want to row back. That worked out to about 10 miles smilielol.gif beerchug.gif <The old girl never let me down
