Think I put on what could be the last of my VT miles yesterday (50 miles) < put's me over 2K for the season so far

only managed a friday ride this weekend. put on 175 though. rode up to canaan and back. NICE trails up that way.

Nice, I was suppossed to have headed up yestrday to ride to the Canadian border and back which would have got me to 2500 for the season, hoping for next weekend maybe. Sucks that we've had better snow this year but I'm actually behind on miles from last year.

Did they end up grooming up your way yesterday, I was surprised it got just cold enough that the snow wouldn't ball up so we went and groomed our primary trails yesterday but it's going to be like riding on a brick today after last nights freeze so I wasn't going near that action.

Sure are, saturday afternoon was an F'n washout...the trails are'nt terrible now there's just a shitload of blowdowns

Nah...groomers did'nt make it out yesterday and the conditions were OK....Hookup with studs was insane on the frozen hardpack (also let out my limiter straps for the last pow ride and never put em' back, so that made for an interesting ride).
After my CO trip I'm prolly done for the year (might make Oquassuc after easter)....I'll have to hook up with ya for an early ride next year @ Mt. Valin maybe?

I'll get 4-5 more days in I would hope, rode into mid April last year

we'll start planning Valin over the summer, some of the crew I go with including myself wants to push out the early season trip till early December just because we've stressed the last 2 years about whether there would be snow at THanksgiving and even this year with 3+ feet the riding was better Tuesday-Thursday of the week after.

There should be some mint off trail through th emonth of April here
